That front pillar section crushed like a pancake and folded to the rear, especially on the driver's side, but notice that aside from the rear supports kinking and crush folding slightly, but not completely, it appears that the Right rear actually is still in a better upright shape than the left rear. I'm not convinced that a hoop roll bar would fare much better, but a front pillar supporting cage certainly would since that appears to be where the impact crush is coming from, front to rear, and left to right. Yes, lucky to survive, but survive he did.

Here is a photo of Art Stephens Pantera that rolled over after according to Arts account to me he ‘fell asleep’ at the wheel with no roll bar.
LUCKILY he was able to pull himself OUT of the wrecked Pantera eqith knly minor injuries.
So much for Larry’s assessment that the Panteras rear box was safe. 😂😂But Art did as Art described survive becauese he did not stay upright in the cockpit during his roll over ride. He was convinced that getting thrown sideways in the cockpit was what saved his life.
Yea team….slow down or add a bolt in roll bar if you are running triple digit speeds in races. You’ll never be as lucky as Art was that day.
