Damn... there ya' go... spoiling it for me.

Yes, that's true.

However, I will state that although he recommended and talked me through some things, actually having done it is where you learn the hard way and you remember it.

My best/worst sob story is a bad harness from the vendor. It took me three months of depression, anger and constant phone calls to Mike and the vendor and the only way I figured it out was when Mike sent me another ECU and it did the same.

I got mad while sitting in the driver's seat, reached over and picked the ECU up off the floor while the engine was running and POP, BANG, it died.

Set the ECU back on the floor, fired the engine up again and it ran fine. Picked up the ECU and BANG, it died again.

Hah! Turned out to be a loose connection to a pin in the harness plug to the ECU.

OK, I was happy that I found the problem, but I was NOT happy having to rewire the whole damned thing again.

The vendor replaced the harness and it's been working fine ever since.

OK, down off my soapbox.... and back to work.

Awesome feedback already this morning. In addition to a couple folks who emailed me directly here are the Pantera -drivers- who have recommended the Innovate system from real experience:

- Kirby Schrader
- Mike Trusty
- SOBill Taylor
- John Christian

That is a good enough sample quantity and testimony for me.
Thank you everyone. :)

Indeed. as Mike says, they do trade-ins.

I traded in my LM-1 and got the LM-2.

The "innovate" systems that Kirby has mentioned are the same as I use and in
my opinion the best. Great company to work with. On occasion when a newer
version of their equipment comes out they will offer a trade-in deal to
upgrade which I have used a couple of times.

Asa Jay,

I highly recommend the Innovate system.
I have an LC1 on the Pantera and the GT40 permanently mounted.
I have the LM2 as a general use anywhere setup.

It will datalog.

Hope that helps.
