Yes, I would really like to change this to "I know," but I haven't had
"the time." :(
We have a little bit of information on the TPR Wiki under "wheels"

The Pantera Wiki maintained by others has a little more information as
well, regarding sizes and offsets:

I -had- looked into some Crager steel wheels and when I contacted Eric
Peterson, the tire tech guy at SSCC, he said he didn't think that
would be a good idea. He wanted me to contact a Pantera vendor and
buy some "appropriate" wheels. He wanted to see hub-centric wheels
and he knows most steel wheels are lug-centric. His response eluded
to the idea he might not pass lug-centric steel wheels. <sigh> The
things that are -not- written in the rules, that he -might- fail a
tech inspection on are mind-boggling. But there you go.
I believe Dan Courtney -has- this answer. I think he ran some Cobra
wheels in 2008. They looked terrible on this Pantera since he had
those humongous wide flares:

But they passed tech with flying colors. Might want to ping him.
