we need to change the "I'm told" to "I know"! :)
If we can find some type of production car wheels that will fit, that would be
great. Then we can start looking in junkyards and craigslist.
Standard steel wheels can be found for $50, which is closer to our target. I'm
guessing the offset will not be quite right, so we're looking for anyone that
has tried this.
Can you give your Mustang guy a call and see if he has any ideas?
