EVENTS

Team Pantera Racing, under the guidance of Mad Dog Antenucci, focuses primarly on Open Road Racing (ORR) events. These types of events are held on public highways and roads. Several events are held throughout the year and are hosted by different organizations. Some of the events TPR members particpate in are listed here:

Silver State Classic Challenge:

  • Flat out on public highway 318 Lund to Hiko, Nevada (90 miles).
  • Multiple events, different times of year.

Big Bend & Road Runner Open Road Race:

  • Race in April on US Highway 285 South from Fort Stockton to Sanderson and back (about 59.0 miles each way - or 118.0 miles). Race in October on US Highway 385 south from Ft. Stockton to Marathon.

Sandhills Open Road Challenge:

  • Over 30 miles of country road, a stop for breakfast, and then a 26 mile return run in Arnold, Nebraska.
