Two TPR members competed - one 1st place trophy!

WooHoo! Excellent. So who where they and who got the First Place?

Well, no Panteras were present, but Michael Frazier and I were there competing.

I got a first place in the 95 class . . . a real struggle in the miata. The Pantera handles SO much better at those speeds.

Michael found a block for the Pantera - two weeks ago. He was driving his coughCorvettecough. We had a good time talking about 2005 when there were TEN Panteras there and MD to help start fights . . . .

95? What.... did you pull it with a rope across the finish line? You should have been doing at least 120, but then again... we want to continue making the Pantera look the best don't we.

So Michael didn't place? Too bad, couldn't have happened to a nicer Corvette.

I heard he was also asked to be an instructor this year. How did that work out? It was cool to have TPR represented.

I just got a new batch of decals, I'll get them posted soon.

Well, Michael is an amazing fellow.

Instructor? Yes.

Said he drove most of the way back at 140-145 trying to make up some time (125 target speed) - and this with a female navigator (Lorna) that had never been over the speed limit. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lorna is a sweet person: "I just kept my head down and didn't look up."

We NEED to revive TPR - such a great group!

I agree, we just need time and money, the root of all fun.

I've got Mad Dog spun up pretty good on the forum now... two TPR members racing the BBORR in a Miata and a Corvette... my my... he's nearly fit to be tied.

Lorna,... that's not a name you hear much anymore. Hope she didn't need a barf bag.

Congratulations to you both though. At least you went and had fun, showed up and drove. Next race... NORC in three weeks.
