I already see it in my head. I have been thinking about it for months.

That's why 2 sets narrow under the wides. Plus the spark pickups are just wide enough to enhance the spark induction so that there are several degrees of spark the system would require a 18 or 20 pin lead system to a controller unit that would allow for individual coil packs to each cylinder. Or a single coil.

That is nearly brilliant. Some details to work out there though. It needs a little bit of smarts to parse the small pulses from the big to make sure either the spark plug is triggered or the fuel injector.

Have an idea for a redesign for distributors. 16 magnetic pickups,8 narrow and 8 wide pickups. Then the narrow ones for spark the wide ones for fuel injectors in sequence with a single tooth reluctor on the shaft. Control spark and fuel injectors on one drop in distributor. And the setup would work for any engine out there, no matter who's engine it goes into.

I ran it it ran well but the distributor gear itself has the hole in a different place than a 351 Cleveland distributor so took a little while to figure that out. Iski cams said run the stock gear on their cam so it's back on
