First bike: hardly remember.  Used hand me down from brothers several yrs older.
2nd bike: a classic in my young eyes.
One of those Banana seat styles, added a Go Cart steering wheel a foot above handlebar.
Because I could easily reach it. ( I installed a 2nd seat above rear tire & could sit there & pedal too.)

Population of entire County, 17,000.  County seat, Kiowa, & even today, they still don’t have a single traffic light!!

If you hear a horn blow…..it’s always accompanied by a wave of the ‘Entire Hand’!!

I think 15+ years, they have had the highest CCW’s issued, per % of population….of ANY County in USA.

Crime rate isn’t zero, but pretty close.   At this time in life, I’m SURE glad to be away from it all……darned close to the way I grew up!!



If I was in child rearing years today, my son would SURE KNOW what those ‘CAPS’ look like!!

And he’d learn how to ‘Quick Draw’ better than his father did!!!



It’s not as rural as when growing up………….& miss those tender years from long ago!!!

But I see the caps rolls……& it helps bring back some really good memories!!!!!!!!

I grew up downtown Las Vegas. I got to see a car stunt live in November of 70.
