[TPR] Fwd: Speed trap results

Well said Larry. As someone who has run at speed in the past you do understand the challenges.

Steve, I have run every major road course in the west and banked ovals at Texas World Speedway and Fontana. Add in banked ovals and running 140-150 is impressive….But on a crowned 2 lane road around even sweeper turns are a totally different challenge. Add in Dips, rumble strips on sides and center lane of the road, woop de dos, blind hills and off camber turns are all an attention getter. All 3 of the remaining ORR’s in Nevada, Nebraska and Texas will offer you a challenge at speed.

Dennis

Anything over 130 on a road course is cranking Steve,
it takes eats up real estate real quick to get out of a turn at 50 or 60 mph to get er up to 120, 130 or even 140, and then back down to 50 or 60 for the next turn.
You Need taller gears to be doing Open Road events

Wow.  That is fantastic!  Great job, guys.  I think we were only around 140 at Road America (end of front straight).
