[TPR] 2012 SSCC Update from the field

yep, if I run again, I'll have to throw away these perfectly good tires and then try and find new tires that will fit my rims.  I doubt it will happen.  Last time I looked at tire rack there were no available DOT tires available in both 245/45-16 and 335/35-17.  I'd have to replace my front wheels or all wheels and get something like 18's.  Might have to go with those tractor wheels like the Dawg.

Just for another Tire Rack point of reference.  The brand new tires I  
got from them only a month ago came in with 2012 date codes for the  
rears... and 2010 date codes for the fronts.  Yea... two year old  
tires on the fronts.  But they passed tech.

Mad Dog says he buys from a local distributor and -always- says "don't  
deliver me anything until the dates codes are with six months of NOW."  
  ... and that's what he gets, even if it takes six weeks to find them.

I may try that myself next time.
