Wow! After 10 years of abuse, and two seasons of autocross and open
track, I just pulled the front wheel bearings off my Pantera. They are
like brand new.

I love Amsoil bearing grease.

I'll be fetching some new ones -anyway- from the auto store tomorrow.
10 years after all.... is 10 years.

I also began drilling my caliper bolts for safety wire. First bolt,
first hole, three quarters of the way through, going slow and easy...
-SNAP-! Damn.

Luckily the remnants were easy to get out, thank the Lord. Tomorrow,
I'll buy a pack of the best bits I can find, figuring I'll probably go
through a few before I get four bolts done. I may run over to Dad's and
use his drill press too. (yea, I can hear a bunch of you going DOH!
already) :)

So if I decide to paint the calipers with some of that really high-heat
caliper paint.... what color would look best? It's a white car, and
will sport either stock Campys or some gun-metal grey Cobra R wheels.

Thoughts?
