[TPR] Roll Bars & Cages Re: Found the mufflers I'd been looking for

I could loosen the DD roll bar firewall bolts and get the cover off.  I have since installed a Kirk Evans flat firewall kit and that also works with the bar installed (as long as you remove the third leg (roll bar leg, that is)) :)

Pope - My Drenske cage allows engine access by removal of the modified stock fire wall interior cover. What Dick did was to modify the center interior cover by cutting it so it can then be removed to access the fire wall access cover on firewall.

JB should be able to confirm if his Drenske 3-point roll bar also has a similar mod to his roll bar...

Can one install  a roll-bar and still get the access panel for the engine
off??? I don't think so.  One may want to have the
 "removable hump" option
in place before the roll bar is installed. . . . .

Just thinking . . .

Well, one of your email addresses has been coming through on the list
just fine (I'll have to check which one).  The other may not be
registered so it would get rejected.

I wish I were that far ahead of the game.  Wow!  Three grand for a
rollbar?  That's nuts!  I paid Dick Drenske about
 $1,500 for the
customer four point cage (like Dennis') for my Pantera.  It's still
not installed though.  Some of the bolt holes for the connectors are
at the wrong angle and I can't install them once the whole thing is
installed.  I have some welding work on it that needs done before I
can put it in.  That, and I need to get a removable bulkhead cover
that's compatible with the cage.

You might take some photos and email the tech inspectors ahead of time
to ask about harness attachment.  If it's at the right angle and
distance, you may be fine.
