[TPR] Asa's Engine rebuild update - eggs

Journals are still round. Mic'd in six places.
Crank already turned 0.010 under.

You can readily get bearings in 0.001 and 0.002 oversize for mildly worn
or simply polished stock cranks.

But you -can't- readily get bearings in 0.011 or 0.012 oversize for a
Ford, much less a 351C. They go from .001 and .002 to 0.010, those
available in a 0.011 oversize are apparently for other small block Fords...

... and they are -damn- expensive. Much easier to shim, unfortunately,
finding tapered shim stock (the better to use) is also difficult. I've
only found one supplier and it too is very expensive.

I can find 0.001 shim stock which if used on both bearing halves would
reduce the clearance by 0.002. I would simply have to trim for the oil
hole on the block side. I'm not really fond of this idea, but don't
like the idea of shimming only one half even more.

For the 0.0002" difference, maybe I shouldn't worry about it. In fact,
looking at the photos again, all the plastigage is actually a bit wider
than the 0.003 mark, so most likely the clearance is -less- than 0.003.
I don't think I'll worry about it.

I'll upload photos in a little while.
