- Cleaned the crank with a 0.22 caliber boresnake. No residue. Blew
out with compressed air.
- Honed the cylinders, put a pretty good cross-hatch in there (amazing
how smooth and shiny the cylinders actually were before honing.)
- Cleaned, scrubbed the block with clean rags, brushes where possible
and blew out with compressed air.
- Placed main bearings -dry-, with crank and Plastigage. Torqued to
spec using ARP assembly lube. Will let sit overnight and check readings
tomorrow.

- Waiting on balance of rod bearings.
- Will probably assembly new rings to pistons tomorrow but may need to
hold off piston insertion until rod bearings arrive.
- May be able to install cam/lifters and spring/spider assembly (holds
the roller lifters in place) this weekend.
- May be able to assemble timing gear set (Pete Jackson quiet gear
drive) and front cover too. We'll see how it goes.

- I should really pull the radiator this weekend too, in order to see
how bad it is or isn't.

Everybody check your harnesses. The set Mad Dawg gave me a few years
ago have now expired (was expected) so I need at least one new. Helmet
is still good, SA 2010.

Still need tires, waiting for budget to replenish. A little closer
though... sold an old set of ARE wheels I used to run on the Mach I...
since the Campy's look so much nicer on it now. :) ... and can runner
a wider tire on the rear! Hoo rah!

Photo uploads much later... trying to concentrate on the actual work but
still taking photos.
