Bob, both Rich's & All the guys who showed up tonight to hang and offer expert advise <grin>...
Okay I am ready for Silver State!
First off thanks for inviting us Bob and secondly thanks Rich (Bosch) for finding my fuse problem. JB is right....I need glasses ;-)>
Bob showed us his first prototype bolt on muffler....he's gonna make them up and squeeze them down 3 to 2 inches and see what makes most power and/or is quiestest......its a beautiful piece....just R&R what we are running and replace them with the straight pipes and mufflers.... its worth if you can pass tech at Laguna Seca and Sears Point I am in....So share again Bob what you did.
P.S. Bob hosted the Thursday night tech session and bench racing session and 3 cheers for Rich who found the inline fuse I missed....that was a about a 20 second tech session so the rest of the night was bench racing, beer and pizza which Bob also generously donated and we generously devoured ;-)>
Good Times
PS.....I got home it was dark and tail lights weren't working...yea Mike Drewaster wire loom ;-) I think JB may have touched the pantera too.
Will sent some photos to AJ to post on TPR site.....thanks guys.

Subject: Re: OUR ELECTRICAL WIZARD?-THURS NIGHT AT BENSON SHOP
Hey Mad Daug:
The only car I have newer than 1973 is the Viper. I understand Old Detroit Iron. The real question ... is louder always faster? Could you go as fast, or almost as fast, with exhaust volume below 98-95-92db? Or is it just the principle.
You're probably right about the Viper not going faster without cats and mufflers. That is exactly my point. Couldn't the Pantera be modified to be less noisy and just as fast (almost as fast)?
There is no racing if they won't let you on the track. Let's go to Laguna!

>P.S. When I run open road races my only goal is to catch up to and pass the guy in front of me....someone on the De Tomaso List had video of me catching and passing a Viper at Silver State who had started 30 seconds ahead of me. He (Steve Waldmanf) actually slowed down....must have been the noise that scared him or the speed.
