Will you stop this?

Yea for the 2nd time, its on me official TPR fuel cell feeding IR-EFI. ;-]>

It includes 12-bolt top fill plate which includes check valve, etc. And passes
official tech inspections. Now pulls fuel off bottom of tank.

Go to Pegasus...everything you need is there. Hall also used to sell a cheap
plastic check 'rollover' valve.
Funny you should mention overfilling...I have not had that problem since
modifying my fuel tank.....

Lessons Learned Story follows -

I remember running right behind Jim Saxton at Willow Springs a few years
ago....Jim lost it on turn 5 as we headed up the hill and he sadly rolled
over....it wasn't my fault......... however he should have known NOT to try and
go faster then my all stock Pantera in his race Pantera! ;-)

So when he crashed I pulled my Pantera over to see if I could help because as I
said earlier he and the Pantera were UPSIDE DOWN...... I saw FUEL gushing like a
river out his remote RACE fill cap while he was sitting in the cockpit like he
had all day to get out. . .but I think the check valve worked okay so yea they
are a good idea! ;-)>

Its amazing how fast that BIG boy got out of that Pantera door 'window' when I
screamed at him,

"JIM, YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THE COCKPIT NOW BECAUSE COURSE OFFICIALS WILL GET
REALLY MAD AT YOU FOR ALL THIS FUEL GUSHING OUT OF YOUR RACE PANTERA ON THE
COURSE AND YOU MAY GET A BLACK FLAG AND BE BANNED FROM TRACK EVENTS AND IT ALSO
MAKES THE REST OF US WITH PANTERA'S LOOK BAD".....(long version.

Okay those may NOT of been my exact advise to Jim..............

But, its still amazing how fast that BIG boy got out the side window of his
race Pantera after I yelled at him....if you had asked me if it was possible for
him to fit out that little side windown I would have said only as possible as a
Leprechaun flying out of his rear end.

Lots of stories about that day...and of course they are all true ;-]>

John,

I thought about this, but have a concern. If I simply plug the canister
line from the tank, and if I don't have a gas cap that breathes, won't this
give me a pressure problem in the gas tank?

I see this as having two solutions:
- Vented gas cap, or
- Vented tank

Bud sent me some ideas too that he did. I'll have to take a look at it all
to see how I want to do it.

Anyone install a rollover valve? Do you have pictures? Does it sit below
the filler neck? What happens if you overfill?
