Firing Order for the 351 Cleveland

The proper firing order for a stock 351C engine is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.  The distributor rotates counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise for our English friends).  The number one cylinder is on the passenger side of the block at the front.  The position of the rotor on the distributor doesn't really matter as long as the firing order is kept intact.  Some folks like to point the rotor toward the number one cylinder but it's not necessary.
