This engine has been flawless ever since it was first built in 2008 when we added the 8-stack IR-EFI. It is a .20 over Cleveland block (from JB), stroker build (381 ci) with 302B heads with allot of porting work to both the intake and the heads. All Comp cam drivetrain, with Eagle rods etc.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">Really nothing but the best went into this engine. Even with a hyd roller it still made 503 RWHP at 6,000 Rpm. And I stopped the dyno pull at that point because I had already added the taller gears to the ZF and knew this engine was never going to propel me to 200 mph but it would do 180+ haha.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">And since the last overhaul in 2018 which was only needed again because of a rear main seal leak it has run beautifully thanks to Asa's tuning and maintenance. Every year ASA has checked valve train, done leak down tests, pulled plugs, replaced fuel and oil lines and so much more and even put a bore scope inside the engine to check it out. Again, the engine has been flawless much to Asa's credit and thorough maintenance and repairs the last few years.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">I'd like to see the engine go to someone who is a friend and team mate would use it for open track and open race events and still enjoy it if they never raced it again.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">If any of you are interested let me know. I'm looking for $10 grand and would discount $2,000 for the rear main seal leak repair. My understand from talking to a few of you and that is the only way to get long term use is to go to a 1-piece rear main seal but I understand to do that you need to machine the engine. I'd like to blame Asa for the rear main seal leak but no one would believe me since Russ Fulps (God bless him) did all the engine building. haha

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif"">Truth is there was NO measurable amount of engine oil lost at Silver State (maybe half a quart) this year or even back in 2018 when I last lost a rear main seal leak previously....but what did come out sprayed back on the ZF and looked ugly and you guys know how clean I keep the engine bay and ZF.
