So it still needs to turn. And, remember -- this is an FIA "1972-spec" Group 3 car with limited changes. We build the car so that we could run in a FIA-pre 12/31/72 group because we complied with the December 1972 FIA Group 3 rules (e.g., six attachment points for the cage, stock shocks, stock sway bars (we cheated a bit by putting the GTS swaybars on)). Unless we want to build a car that runs in the Group 4, Goup 5, Exhibition or Post-73 classes, we pretty much are racing what they sold the customers in 72 as a Group 3 car. Our goal is to finish and show people that a nearly stock Pantera can not only look great, but also do pretty well in a race and then run for beer. Look at how they construct a Modified oval racer, or NASCAR builds a totally different chassis for left handed ovals.
