& Ellen Young. Battle Mtn NV 2005. Carl said their 'Arm
Restraints' in frt trunk. Carl suffered horrible left arm
issues( I think 2 or 3 compound fractures), & Ellen Right
arm. Mid Course Flight for Life @ a big central Course worker
station. They had just gone thru radar trap @ 192 mph.
NEW rear tire burst. As they came from behind a hill into
view of Aid / Course worker station, they were already going 'End
over End'!! Car came to a rest within 40 yards of
Helicopter!!!!</div>

CANNOT remember his name. (Battle Mtn NV, maybe 3 miles North
of Austin High school) Ran UNL division with me. (ex NASCAR)
Wrecked at South end, Battle Mtn NV. He could smell rain in
the air, but road was OK. Entered LAST corner, set up
right, onto white line to take left hand sweeper at maybe 190
mph. White line hadn't dried moisture yet from earlier
rain. He was counting on traction.....but line was wet....he
Lost control. Hit the dirt/rock cut, went across road, flew
across small valley. He was UPSIDE DOWN & BACKWARDS when they
hit embankment on other side!!! ( 50 yard or sooo flight
)</div>

Both air lifted from Battle Mtn. Nav had Hutcheons device,
driver had Hans device, both had very similar injuries. I
spent time with him in ER in Battle Mtn before flight for life
returned to take him.</div>

Both were Unconscious before flying across valley. Nav woke
up first, before course workers got to them. Car was still
upside down. But now in bottom of 50 foot ravine. He
woke, because HOT OIL was leaking out of dry sump cell, across roof
( now the floor), and hot oil was BURNING his hand in it's
path!!</div>

Both recovered OK.....but he had PTSD forever because of it.
He tried a road race in CA a couple years later....& could NOT
handle it!!!</div>

Charlie Friend close behind him. Didn't see it happen.
But road not closed yet, might have been mere seconds.
Charlie fast thru there. Debris all over the road...he weaved
his way thru it, but couldn't avoid one big thing!! Ran over
it with Corvair. He & I looked car all over, I found a peice
of the battery post from NASCAR!! First impact SOOOO hard for
those guys, battery had been knocked out of car on first part of
collision with wall!!!</div>

Inada's car. TOOO much wing, led to toooo much caster on
independent rear axle, which led to extreme temps on inner wall of
tires. ( need for air tunnel testing!! ) Tires didn't last 60
miles!! I saw his 'In Car' video. He could've kept the
car on road & NOT crashed. </div>

You could hear tire explode. You could see vibration start
instantly. He almost instantly hit brakes & started
downshifting!! Car swerving got BAD after a couple
shifts....& he LOST it!!!!</div>
