<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">This is what I have to say about that: Since I just completed the on-line AARP Safe Driver Course for whatever piddly savings to insurance offered, that wont even be a drop in the bucket.... the only things I learned and what I'd need to worry about if my driving were monitored (according to the class) is going too slowly and being beeped too much, making sure there're 10" between me and the steering wheel, for when, not if, the airbag deflates, and to be safer by avoiding making left turns by making three rights instead. Of course they don't take into account the three times increase in possibility of pedestrians being hit on right turns when one looks left and right too late. Then must learn to appreciate roundabouts as they are safer than intersections (actually I do recall going round and round one for about an hour where highways converged, somewhere en route to L.A. from Solvang) then checking into alternative ways to get around since a car costs so much more than other modes of transportation. Then of course as we age our eyes have more difficulty seeing clearly especially at dawn, dusk, and night, and judging distances, also add hearing difficulties to hear ambulances etc. and that we should have no distractors, like conversations in car, no radio, no eating or drinking coffee. What the ???? Kill me now. I was fine before, but now I need a class for beating the depression the class caused. </div><div><br></div>
