You (unlike me) and so many others on this very small site can appreciate Randy’s skills because many if you have wrenching skills and have owned and raced cars and motorcycles since you were kids where you needed to do the work yourself. <div><br></div><div>Randy did the same but found out his rwal love was “bending metal” like the artist that he is. A few of us on the left coast drove the two hours up to Randy Grubb’s cool shop in Grants Pass for the unveiling of one of Randys McClaren race cars and the construction of another in progress….and the usual deco pods and other cool stuff under construction
in his shop. There at the shop we met another 50 people Randy has raced and wrenched with for 30+ years. A great group.<br>

Bjoern (Viking) Flesland and his girlfriend both from Oslo Norway stopped by to visit. Bjoern a dedicated ORR veteran and ran his Vector W8 in Sept at SS last year and this May in the NORC and is returning to Ely in Sept.

The Viking has run several cars to include his Lamborghini and a Mercedes and no doubt others I forget because they werent Panteras. Haha<br>
<br>
I haven't convinced the Viking to bring his Pantera from Norway to race. He just keeps asking me where my Pantera was and I pointed to the C8 and we both shrugged our shoulders in guilt and said “I no understand you” 😂😂<br>
<br>
Randy had a much deserved ear to ear grim the entire time. Afterwords we had a great lunch together.
