Hey Boyz & Laurie,<div><br></div><div>Silver State dates in Ely this year are Thursday, Sept 14 to Sunday, Sept 17<br><div><br></div><div>I just made my reservations in Ely at Hotel Nevada using Hotels.com web site. And according to hotel booking agent the hotel is running out of rooms. That might not be accurate As we have heard the “we have no rooms available” before only to find out they so have rooms 🙄…..but I went ahead and made reservations as I dont want to end up looking for a room later. And coming out from the right coast will be Mark and Jim which will be great to see those guys again Racing Marks Pantera. </div><div><br></div><div>One of Asa’s Pantera customers may also go this year as well with his Pantera. Hoping Eric Peterson will bring my old ride. <span style="">Also heard</span><span style=""> from Paige </span><span style="">Adler (Dave & Linda Adlers daughter) who wants to run the infamous </span><span style=""> “Whiplash”. A couple others saying they may be there as well like Gerry, Curt Toumanian and Pete Beckham….also hoping Laurie will help Paige if she brings Whiplash and maybe this yesr the Viking will finally bring his Pantera from Norway.</span></div><div><span style="">😉</span></div><div><span style=""><br></span></div><div><span style="">I am also bringing a new local friend who lives near Randy and I who is also planning to go as well with his Corvette race car. </span></div><div><br></div><div>Before I forget,please remember if you are a rookie and do not have a race license to send me your HPDE School certificate or you need to plan to go to Rookie school in Vegas on Thursday. then you can caravan with the rest of the guys in Vegss on friday to Ely.</div><div><br></div><div>Be sure if you are bringing a Pantera or any car capable of 150+ MPH speeds that you will need at a minimum W, Y or Z rated tires. And Eric recommends Z or Y for our cars. Questions on tires, reach out to Eric.</div><div><br></div><div>And if you are planning to run in Grand Touring or Grand Sport ALL your tires need to be no OLDER then 5 years old. If your planning to run Touring Division tires can be as old as 6 years but make sure they are NOT damaged, have metal valve stems. And tires do not have cracking, flat spots or other damage. </div><div><br></div><div>And dont forget you need dated arm restraints are also required for Grand Touring and Grand Sport divisions. Mounted fire extinguisher on a metal bracket, etc. And again this year a SA-2015 helmet is required and dont forget gloves or Blue will sell them to you at an inflated price at Tech. Haha</div><div><br></div><div>Again, read the RULE BOOK.
