Thanks Dave for sharing with us. Remember there are no Corvettes in TPR…at least not yet haha!<div><br><div>Personally, I am just buying Paragons ‘harness bar kit’ which includes a steel front mounting plate and hardware to support a 5 point harness. <br><br>Again, in Touring Division no harness is required. And the NEW rule is while highly recommended a 5-point harness is not required either unless speeds exceed 160.</div><div><br></div><div>And yes I highly recommend the 5-point harness set up and roll bars ad well.</div><div><br></div><div>Dennis <br><br><a href="https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/?.src=iOS">Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone</a><br><br><p class="yahoo-quoted-begin" style="font-size: 15px; color: #715FFA; padding-top: 15px; margin-top: 0">On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 6:01 AM, David Carpenter via TPR <tpr@teampanteraracing.com> wrote:</p><blockquote class="iosymail"><div id="yiv8161838509"><div>
<div>Great!!! C8 & Devil MD Antinucci should be good to go!</div>

<div>Likely C8 same as any car seat I'd seen. You can install 5 point, by slipping a piece of iron flat stock between front seat bolts. (Raises seat just thickness of metal) Same bolts, should be long enough.</div>
<div>Bolt 'Sub-strap' to center of flat stock.</div>
<div>(Do NOT use aluminum...not strong enough)</div>
<div><br clear="none">
</div>
<div>Or</div>
<div>A six point: no flat stock: Bolt each strap to each seat Bolt.</div>
<div>(I Advise either one, but prefer the 6 point)</div>

<div>Either way, just a 9/16" wrench is all ya need.</div>

<div>Attaching them when seated: only takes 30 seconds longer.</div>
<div>In a crash: EITHER....WHEN ADJUSTED CORRECTLY....can prevent you from 'Submarining' Under lap belt & keep you in seat. (ALWAYS causes severe internal abdominal injuries....especially spleen & liver....I KNOW people it happened too...& lucky
they survived)</div>
<div><br clear="none">
</div>
<div>So not sure of your plan, ie...belts you have In Stock...or your desire....but cost is/was only slightly different.</div>
<div>I never removed 'Sub' belts on vettes. Just tuck them under seat between races. </div>
<div><br clear="none">
</div>
<div>I was AGHAST @ several close friends that had belts on ENTIRELY WRONG!!!!</div>
<div>Like Don Davis & wife...& Cindy Vasquez!!!</div>
<div>I was very close to yelling @ them near Start line!!!!</div>
<div>Lap belt was WAY OFF LEGS/HIPS!!! IT WAS Navel level or above!!</div>
<div>I gave them a 30 second lesson (piece of my mind!!!) Told them Safety people have no idea....but that's Extremely Dangerous....Adjust the Sub belt SHORTER @ the other end!! No time to do it now!!</div>
<div><br clear="none">
</div>
<div>Lap belt MUST be tightened first!!! Hard!! Keep it low on pelvic girdle!!</div>
<div>Sub belt can have a little play in it, but not much.</div>
<div>Tighten shoulder straps Last!!!</div>

<div>Not sure effect was good coming from just plain ole ME.....but coming from someone in UNL division....they took it deep to heart!!!</div>
