<div>Dealer was telling me guys downshifting with paddles forgetting what is up and what is down and blowing the engine. My understanding is you can crash the engine and/or trans if you are not paying attention. </div>

<div>Pretty clear to me though as the upshift paddle is on the right with a BIG + sign. Downshift paddle on the left again with a big - sign. Or maybe its visa versa</div>
