Here is some more. Since I purchased my C8 new I can say you are told to not go over 4 grand revs I believe it was and the tach has a lower red line to remind you not to BUT THE ENGINE WILL HAPPILY REV TO MUCH MORE IF YOU FORGET!!! Also When new on the Z51 package the factory leaves the rear brake scoops in the front trunk. "installing them for street driving may cause the car to catch fire" The dealer does recommend changing the oil after first 500 miles. I did and the service dept. thought I was wrong to do it. ( I did it) I filmed my tach as it transitioned from 500 miles break in to full rev counting. It did it at 500 miles exact. My new Ford GT did not develop full power for the first 15 miles and then Ford let her rip. Ford believed 15 miles would break it in. So here is the rub Ford limits the break in buy computer but Chevy just gives you a suggestion but you could go to reline any time you want at any mileage. nuf said.</div><div><br></div><div class="ydpf1e64f90signature">Best Regards, Lee Pedersen, Pres. <div>Believe SSCC will tech to 165 with a 155 average but not on my first run out. </div>

<div>Driver not C8 challenge. Having Asa Jay Laughton install the c8 harness bar similar to how we have Pantera set up to run faster without a roll bar or cage. </div>

<div>Yea the 2-way in May sounds like a hoot. Any of you TPR Boyz want to go in May?</div>

Here are 3 photos of the C8. Z51 3LT package with 2 many options to list. Love it! It is everything the critics have wrote about it. Car & Driver magazine called it, “America’s Super Car”. 0-60 under 3 seconds, 194 mph top speed, Italian styling, beautiful
interior, amazing engineering! Poor man’s Ford GT. 🥳<br>

Should be at our annual TPR Board Meeting in Ely in September. 😂😂 Possibly May as well as I still have not done the 2-way run.<br>
