I copied Asa since I know he is interested. But I am not anxious to hear all the grief again about how nuts it is to race the car so hard and I don't deserve body parts since they are rare and others need them to get the old cars back on the street. I figure you guys all get it. But to be frank, I think our racing (OTR and vintage) does just as much and is just as important to the brand. </div><div><br></div><div>BTW, the Quaife barely fits -- about 1/8 inch clearance to the back, but so far we think it will work. Axles line up, shift linkage adapted, and it static shifts (not running) better than the ZF. Adaptors for the axles were $7,000 - so we made our own in our machine shop. Right now it’s veterans Mark, JB, Peter, Dawg/Asa, Lee, Paul, and Rookie Chris. Nothing back from Ransom or anyone else so hoping he is just wrenching and has all he needs. <br>

Hearing veterans Curt Toumanian and Pete Beck Beckham are joining us and like Paul are running other cars. Also hearing from Gerry he may be able to fly in and rent a C8 and blow us all away. Okay Kidding ya Gerry but hope you can make it also!<br>
