(Thursday to Sunday) so it’s time to get your hotel reservations in. Some of us will arrive EARLY.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">HOTELS<br></div><div dir="ltr">Whatever you decide DO NOT wait until the last minute to get your reservation in unless you don’t care what room or hotel you get. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Most of you said you thought the best hotel to get into and out of the overflow parking lot is the Hotel Nevada. It’s downtown and close to everything even though the rooms are dated. But you also have the Jail House hotel and the Triple 7’s among several others. All within a 2 minute walk to the Hotel Nevada and civic center downtown. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">As an alternative at the other end of town has some more modern spacious hotels but you pretty much have to drive everywhere. Important factor when we are at Tech on Friday and Saturday at the park. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Whoever you pick make sure you get a confirmation number from hotel. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">SCHEDULES<br></div><div dir="ltr">Mark is coming from Connectect again and Chris, Lee, Asa, Ransom and I from Oregon. Asa and I plan to spend Tuesday night in Reno again.<br></div><div dir="ltr">Then hit Ely on Wednesday. Yea we like to get there early. Chris and Ransom will need to do the Rookie track session In Vegas on Thursday unless they have a race license or written proof from a track race school before SS etc. remember to go to the Tech Rules www.SSCC.us to make sure you are good to go. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">TECH RULES <br></div><div dir="ltr">make sure your tires will pass tech. I read on SS message board Michelin and heard other brands of performance tires are available. Just make sure your tires are within Tech TIRE DATES…..for the Panteras ideally Y or Z speed rated tires. <br></div><div dir="ltr">Problem areas are Tech are not in order but here are the most common issues that come up at tech<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">1. If you are running Touring Division you only need OEM belts but if you do have a harness in your pantera make sure it meets tech requirements…do not quess on these items or tires. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">And always a potential problem is anyone TRAILERING. Make sure your truck and wheel bearings are good, lights work and you have at least one (I bring 2) spare tires. Ask John how he loved changing 3 tires or how Asa and I loved running on 3 trailer wheels haha.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">REGISTRATION<br></div><div dir="ltr">We can no longer send in registrations early without FULL payment….so what I did last year was waited until I was about a week out before I paid. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Hoping there may be 1-2 other guys or gals coming with a pantera. <br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Call or email me or Asa if you have any questions.
