using radar at Pocono when we were there. As you know, the track
is run counter clockwise at club events. Pat Mical and others
were clocking the car coming off the long straight before the
long banked bend going down the back stretch. Gary was driving
the car. I was once a passenger in a GT 40 going into that bend
at 180 and nearly soiled myself... Gary was fearless and
probably a little stupid about his limitations, until he crashed
a dedicated Porsche race car at Lime Rock. Most of the other
drivers did not like being on the track with him at the same
time. One of my GT 40 friends refused to play with him... Both
Gary and Pat were full of themselves. and never humble!</font></font><br>
