<div dir="auto">Add Testing $$$....the cost goes WAY Beyond that!!!</div>

<div dir="auto">Ernie riding in right seat. Wearing multi layered NASCAR fire suit & nomex long John's.</div>
<div dir="auto">His right leg was burning BAD!!! We're belted in soo tight he couldn't look down...but he swears....if he Could see....his suit HAD to be Smoking!!!</div>
<div dir="auto">He was in excruciating pain!!!</div>
<div dir="auto">He did NOT want me to slow down so he could cool off!!</div>
<div dir="auto">He tried & tried... .he could NOT move his legs away from the Searing heat!!!!</div>
<div dir="auto">(The exhaust was funneled thru that door to exit!!) </div>

<div dir="auto">Couple years earlier, Mike Borders had a guy put Three layers of heat insulation in there ....so it would NOT be a problem!!!</div>

<div dir="auto">Several laps later, Ernie realized the problem!</div>
<div dir="auto">YEP: it was heat thru side panel!!</div>
<div dir="auto">He found out in straights he could move his legs away.... & KEEP them away!!</div>

<div dir="auto">BUT: in corners, he didn't have enough strength in legs to Over Come Centrifugal Force!!!</div>

<div dir="auto">Later, Ernie told Mike B. about it!</div>
<div dir="auto">Mike shocked: "We never had a heat issue after it was insulated!!!"</div>

<div dir="ltr">Ford was not shy testing for NASCAR. here are some 427 head and intake photos to help visualize this intake and head combo. As same as dual quad 427 medium riser carbs are mounted backwards to improve fuel distribution.</div>
