<div>As well as Junior's and Charlie Pucket's photos....Cant remember if after several runs 5-6 years in a row actually starting with '89 the first year he ran I thought Junior bought a second Pantera which became what some called the FunnyCar Pantera although it did have a stock deck lid with a big hole in the back (LOL)....not to take anything away from Junior because he also had a 170+ average in a mostly stock bodied Pantera sometime around 95-96 which had the taller 3.5 ring gear and a 429 block.</div><div><br></div><div>Charlie who was the only guy I know of who averaged 160 Mph in a stock bodied Pantera with what I remember was a race 302 engine with a STOCK 4.22 ring gear....he only did it once but hellva a feat considering stock gearing. </div><div><br></div><div>If Mark averages 160 next Sunday I believe he will be the only person to ever average 160 with a Cleveland engine..</div><div><br></div><div>Copying Mike Drew on this to verify. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div> </div><div><br></div>

<div>Asa & Laurie & Team,</div><div><br clear="none"></div><div>Here are some old photos (thank you Eric) of Pete Beckhams, Gary Hall, and Steve Waldman's Pantera's</div><div><br clear="none"></div><div>I believe Pete (correct me if I am wrong) that was either 1998 or earlier.</div><div><br clear="none"></div><div>On Gary Hall that had to be preior to 1997 because in '98 I believe that was year Gary got a triple digit speeding ticket on H93 and knowing the NHP officer was turning in the ticket to SSCC just turned around and went home. </div><div><br clear="none"></div><div>On Steve Waldman, he entered SS/NORC 3 times between 89 and 96 that I remember and never completed a run successfully.
