This is what I saw years ago on an engine and the owner told me they used Pennzoil and changed oil regularly. It's why I've never used Pennzoil. But yes, probably non-detergent.<br><br></div>

Yuck, is the <br></div><div dir="ltr">word for the day. Thick sludgy and smelly oil. A distributor that is <br></div><div dir="ltr">really stuck, a cam gear that refuses to come off, and a cam that won't <br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1511224744893_9996">come out. Small problems overall, but the engine turns. My guess right <br></div><div dir="ltr">now is that this will need 0.030 over at minimum but we'll try for 0.010 <br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1511224744893_9997">if we can. I've not measured anything yet.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">We still need to get the pan off, rods/pistons out and remove the <br></div><div dir="ltr">crank.
