Reason is Eric Patterson Tech rule is Panteras are capable of 150+ MPH speeds...No tire cracking or flatspots Paul all most got DQ'd before he ran his Viper last year because he had some tire scuffing on TIRE but it was on inside edge where you really had to look to find it. Personally I recommend a Y or Z rated tire and remember too the tire has to meet the mfg date stamp. Last year Asa (thank you) Laughton and I noticed we had a damaged tire....because it was last minute we could not find replacement Conti's in time to get them to Vegas or Ely by Friday I had to buy all new tires in Vegas....so again check your tires on inside and outside edges not just the tread. </div><div class="qtdSeparateBR" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1497450785442_3666" dir="ltr"><br></div><div class="qtdSeparateBR" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1497450785442_3666" dir="ltr">5.
