<br clear="none" />I've manually added our FirSSt lady of racing Laurie Ferrari to the TPR
<br clear="none" />email list since ex-el-presidente' mentioned she was coming to SSCC this
<br clear="none" />year with the rest of us Pantera misfits.

<br clear="none" />It's time to get our game on.
<br clear="none" />
<br clear="none" />Mark just sent word that his Pantera is back together and ready for the
<br clear="none" />road. He'll be arriving to the SORC on August 5. That's only three
<br clear="none" />weeks away. So this is a reminder to all our intrepid Pantera pilots
<br clear="none" />running very soon.

<br clear="none" />Grab your checklist and make sure you are ready to go.
<br clear="none" />- Check the expiration dates on your Harnesses
<br clear="none" />- Check the date codes on your tires
<br clear="none" />- Check your fire extinguisher
<br clear="none" />- Check for leaks
<br clear="none" />- Check your throttle return springs
<br clear="none" />- Check your personal gear (helmet, suit, gloves, etc.)
<br clear="none" />
<br clear="none" />For those doing SSCC we'll start going over the list bit by bit in the
<br clear="none" />coming days, so get ready.

<br clear="none" />For those doing SORC, now's the time to bone up on the last minute
<br clear="none" />items, double-check everything and then have your neighbor check it for
<br clear="none" />you -again-. We want a safe run for everyone.

<br clear="none" />Rowdy, great job getting the folks motivated. Please, just don't wear
<br clear="none" />out the Brazilian girls before we can have them for Silver State. Did
<br clear="none" />Franky get his Pantera ready this year?

<br clear="none" />Dawg, you better make sure your body/paint man gets ItBeWild done on
<br clear="none" />time. How's Russ coming along with the engine inspection and refresh?

<br clear="none" />JB, yea... well... trying to keep a cap on that much estrogen in the
<br clear="none" />house is tough... so maybe this year you navigate for me instead. If
<br clear="none" />my car blows up, then we're even. ;) Otherwise let's get Erik and
<br clear="none" />others on-board to get you back in the race this year.

<br clear="none" />Everybody else, just make it happen; get it together and bring your
<br clear="none" />Pantera to SSCC this year. It won't be much longer and you might not
<br clear="none" />find a Pantera at these events anymore, so do it while you can.

<br clear="none" />Besides, there might be a $10,000 prize purse this year. Yea... maybe
<br clear="none" />the SAME prize purse that's gone UNCLAIMED in the last SEVEN years.
<br clear="none" />Nobody's had the balls to beat the challenge previously but I'd say of
<br clear="none" />anyone, Mark has the best shot at it this year. If Mark can average 160
<br clear="none" />MPH and finish the course, and Mad Dog drives slower... the $10K is
<br clear="none" />his. How's that for some motivation?

<br clear="none" />As for the rest of us, we need to do some serious fund raising.
