It is balanced with the rest of the rotating parts. Changing the flywheel at this point will for sure introduce an imbalance. I found one. He reiterated that I needed to be sure the <br>vibration was engine speed related, i.e. do I get the same vibration in <br>every gear at the same rpm? I've only managed to drive the Pantera a <br>couple of times and not been focused on the vibration aspect. I'll <br>definitely get out to do that once the weather gets better and the <br>driveway dries up (it's a bit on the muddy side at the moment).<br><br>He said to bring in the flex plate that was part of the engine setup <br>previously, and the flywheel and pressure plate. For about $70 and a <br>week, he said he can balance it all up for me.<br><br>All I have to do is pull the ZF to get at it all. Seems that while I'm <br>in there, maybe I should replace the flywheel and clutch with something <br>even better. But then again, what I have in there now is only a few <br>years old. Stock heavy flywheel and a Mcleod clutch. I should probably <br>stick with what I have.<br><br>Besides, if I'm going to do the deed this year, I'll need new tires and <br>maybe a new carb.
