Hey Grandpa.... My birthday isn't till March 2 and I ain't turning
50 until then, so it looks like I'm the only eligible party. :)<br>

Though I probably won't make SSCC in 2014 unless some kind of
profitability comes my way at work (one can still dream the dream).<br>

The hood, radiator and plumbing would all interest me, though I'm
certain they would take some mods to the front trunk to install. As
I recall you've got quarter-turn fasteners installed to attach the
hood and the Ron Davis radiator was shoehorned in with some
percussive engineering. I don't know I want to modify the trunk or
front end for that. I should probably fly down to inspect.<br>

My Pantera ran pretty hot at 130 last year too. I imagine some of
that was oil temp helping the coolant get that hot without a way to
escape. Even if I find root cause of the shakes I got, I should lay
out some money on a good oil cooler setup and probably a replacement
carb.<br>

Despite the fact a 620 cfm carb should flow enough for 140, the carb
I have is very limited in tuning capability. I can't recall if the
secondaries even -have- replaceable jets. And I -do- think she was
running really lean at that speed. Which means I should also invest
in an A/F meter, weld in a sensor bung to the exhaust and get
serious. I see more dollar signs flying out the window.<br>

Oh, I did hear back from Chuck Nuytten the carb guy. He didn't
recommend I use the carb I had; he said it was only good for general
use, not for any kind of racing. He thought one of his 750
double-pumpers would be best. However, I think I'd rather have a
vacuum secondary personally, for better around town driving.<br>
<br>
Now... if only -you- had been that other mega-millions jackpot
winner (the one from California, near Huntington Beach), then you
could share the wealth.<br>

will be happy to know that if you are 50 years old or older
which is ALL OF YOU you can't buy these parts. And we know
there is still no one under 50 who wants to open road race
their car as fast as "ME" which is why once again I am
