    Yes, they are required in Grand Touring.  I checked  last years
    rulebook against this years and they were required then as well.  It
    looks like the only group not requiring them is Touring (the lowest
    speed class).  If you have a new set and you don't need them
    anymore, I'll be happy to take them off your hands.  New sets appear
    to be pretty inexpensive; I found them on Amazon for about $30 with
    free shipping, but haven't bought anything yet.<br>

    I need to talk with my Dad yet to find out if he would like to
    navigate for me or just play pit crew.  Temps are supposed to get
    into the 70's by Sunday.  Come on Spring.....<br>

          attached  or looped on to your 5-point harness...you can
          adjust for length but the idea is in a crash it keeps your
          arms from jerking around inside or outside the vehicle. </div>

          them as they have been a requirement in SS and Unlimited for
          2-3 years now. Check the RULE BOOK as they may even be a
          requirement for GT or GS now..... And on your harness quick
          release they come off very  easily.</div>

            Hey all,<br>

            What's the scoop on arm restraints for racing?  How do they
            work?  do they attach to the car or the person?  Does anyone
            have any photos they can provide?<br>

            For the 2013 SSCC, I'm looking to move up to the Grand
            Touring class, which requires arm restraints.  I just want
            to understand them better as I begin looking for the right
            equipment.<br>
