What's the scoop on arm restraints for racing?  How do they work?  do they attach to the car or the person?  Does anyone have any photos they can provide?<br>

For the 2013 SSCC, I'm looking to move up to the Grand Touring class, which requires arm restraints.  I just want to understand them better as I begin looking for the right equipment.<br>
