place<BR>- Emergency brake cables clamped (bottom of the trans)<BR>- clutch slave cylinder installed<BR>- Attached shift linkage<BR>- Engine bay brace installed<BR>- Condenser installed (not that it works)<BR>- Oil pan drain plug tight<BR>- Oil pan sensor plug tight<BR>- Water pump to undercar pipe hose installed<BR>- Oil pressure sensor hooked up<BR>- Vacuum brake canister line hooked up<BR>- Fuel line from tank to pump installed<BR><BR>And the new Fluidyne radiator is now in too.<BR>- Made new bracket setup for the radiator, required new holes in the fan <BR>shroud and radiator top/bottom cross members<BR>- Installed sensors with new copper gasket seals and used a touch of <BR>Hondabond<BR>- Installed hoses<BR>- Pressure tested to 17 lb. and left it there for a while<BR>- installed the assembly in the car and hooked it all up (all hoses and <BR>wires)<BR><BR>After eight hours in the garage, I'm now taking a break. I may (or may <BR>not) get back
to it tonight. Here is a list of things remaining that I <BR>can recall or think of:<BR>- Hookup heater hoses to block and water pump<BR>- Hookup temp sender wire<BR>- Hang the A/C bracket (not that it works)<BR>- Hang the alternator<BR>- Fill with coolant to the level of the block<BR>- Install thermostat and housing<BR>- Install water pump pulley and belt, tighten<BR>- Install, hook up carb<BR>- Fill with BREAK-IN oil<BR>- Put new dual vacuum advance on the distributor (retard port on old one <BR>leaked)<BR>- Install plug wires and cap (not set on distributor)<BR>- Put wheels/tires back on<BR>- Lower the car<BR>- Install (temporarily) driver's seat<BR>- Push car to apron of garage<BR>- Use drill to prime the oil pump and system (wish I had a pressure can <BR>here, I don't think the Motive brake bleeder pressure vessel will work)<BR>- Install distributor and FIRE IT UP!<BR>- Adjust initial timing and let it run to warm up and check
things...<BR>... blah, blah, blah...<BR><BR>I'd say it won't get fired up until tomorrow.
