There is actually good news about the M5 vs Pantera. The Panteras were all piloted by normal guys that were Pantera crazy. Normal guys in mostly normal Panteras. The third Pantera that gave them fits on the straights when it would walk away from the “finely balanced” M5 was driven by, I think, Frank Gorum, who was driving his high powered Pantera by himself. Solo. Given the factors of the match up, I remain proud of the Panteras. I also know that the Bimmer is no slouch.
