Good guys. We all know (or at least should know) the risks when driving at ORR events, but that doesn't stop our need for speed. speed classes until you've had enough. But at the end of the day, we all know something can happen and we end up upside-down in the dessert. The is no way to eliminate risk. ;-(</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>190+ on a crowned 2 lane road that like Nebras and Texas are no where close to being in good shape.....add the new centerline rumble strips that caused Moonshine's accident last year (he was in my race group) I think its noteworthy to say these kind of accidents are rare......but those rumble strips in center lane are little pockets where any road debris, bolts, nails etc can fall into.....also apexing across them on sweeper turns at 155-160 as I was and they shake/rattle the hell out of the car....everyone's car.....but as someone said....these are the course "conditions"......patches of road, dips, blind hills, canyon road, off camber turns....and all this on a crowned road.....so running on ragged edge its just a matter of time and luck to how long it takes you to either lose control or pick up someone's debris.....yea speed kills but so do allot of other things....speed is just a lot
