Well, I've been thinking your intake was sucking oil from the PCV
all along. However, the photos of the intake gaskets did seem to
make it look like you -might- be sucking oil on number 1 port and
that could possible bleed it to all the other ports on that plane.

Just for sake of being on one side of the fence. I'm going to stick
with the PCV. If I'm wrong, I'll have Mad Dog owe you a beer. :)
Did you have a
crankcase vent
hooked up?
Could it have
been pulling
too much oil
vapor, or
maybe too much
oil in the
heads?

What do you
think the
problem is?

I once had
someone tell
me they like
to torque the
intake to the
heads before
torquing the
heads to the
block...
though I've
never done it
that way. The
gasket should
have enough to
take up the
minute amount
of the slack.

Do you have
any
indications of
oil seeping
past the
intake
gasket? I
guess that's
the real
question. If
not, then I'd
be looking for
cracks in the
manifold
sucking oil
from the
valley. But
before I
assume that,
I'd need to
know what kind
of intake
gasket did you
use. Did you
use a turkey
tray? Or just
straight
gaskets to the
heads?
I need more

I'm dying of
curiosity
here. :)
