<DIV>How can I get excited about running with you guys if I can't find you? Yea, I know its scary thinking </DIV>
<DIV>about racing a legend like me but I am not running again until at least one of you shows up...</DIV>
<DIV>Pay out $5,000 dollars ain't enough to find you? Well the money is gone now anyway. Everything is </DIV>
<DIV>gone.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I don't know why I am writing this....everyone is gone. How long ago did you write this AJ?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The real reason I never got past Vegas was I drank a little too much Tuesday night and woke up </DIV>
<DIV>with a splitting headache Thursday. I yelled to see if John Bentley, Bob Benson, Erik Belter, Jason </DIV>
<DIV>Eaton, Peter Menyhart, Dick Drenske, Larry Stock, Doc Abe, Dan Courtney, Charlie Puckett, Junior </DIV>
<DIV>Wilson, Rich Hoppe, Dave Doddek, Bud-7-pistons, Bobby Byers, and even yelled out Laurie Basile's </DIV>
<DIV>name....all were missing. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Not even the real Texans like Gray Gregory or Steve "Hawk" Hawkinson were there. </DIV>
<DIV>But they weren't in Texas either......HAHAHAHA Yea, ALL painfully missing in action!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Friday rolls around again and now my Pantera is missing too. I go down the elevator and the casino's </DIV>
<DIV>are empty.....in fact Vegas is empty.....EVERYONE IS GONE!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The good news is there was still cold beer on tab in every casino in </DIV>
<DIV>Vegas! Why would I ever leave. . .</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Friday I wake up a third time (Ground Hog Day?) and realize I am not gonna make it to Ely and who </DIV>
<DIV>would miss me anyway? </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If everyone is gone yet there is STILL cold beer then maybe I died and went to heaven? Or could </DIV>
<DIV>this maybe be HELL?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So I ask you WHO AM I WRITING TO?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Okay, so no one showed up....not a very good excuse huh? Like the DOG ate my homework.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>To read the REAL answer you need to read my response to AJ's email on shocks...hmmm, very </DIV>
<DIV>convenient no?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>In mean time soon as I stop crying like a girl we have really got to get some of the veterans out to </DIV>
<DIV>SS in September in a Pantera or something that looks like something that is a red headed stepchild....</DIV>
<DIV>or even some rookies or some monkey's on crack with a Pantera so if you are a veteran monkey </DIV>
<DIV>or a racer monkey or you have somehow survived the holocaust in Texas you need to go </DIV>
<DIV>to Silver State in September. I am hearing everyone will be BACK before 2012 and you all know what</DIV>
<DIV>happens in 2012!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>SURFS UP BABY!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>

PORCH.<BR><BR>Just got word from Team Pantera President Dennis "Mad Dawg" Antenucci <BR>that he's out of the running for this years Nevada Open Road Challenge. <BR>He left home earlier in the week after a meticulous series of tune-ups <BR>and test runs in California. However, it seems he discovered a <BR>suspension problem after taking the Pantera off the trailer for a test <BR>drive around town in Vegas or Ely I'm not sure which yet. Being <BR>prudent, especially when running anything above a 110 class, Dennis <BR>evaluated options and finding
none that could be applied in time, <BR>decided the better part of valor was to not race. I'm sure he'll fill <BR>us in on the details later.<BR><BR>So the $5,000 challenge moves to September when he believes he'll have <BR>the Pantera all sorted out and ready to run again. Anyone else plan on <BR>taking him up on that?<BR><BR>Asa Jay<BR><BR>-- <BR>Asa Jay Laughton, MSgt, USAFR, Retired<BR>& Shelley Marie<BR>Spokane, WA<BR>******************************<BR>http://www.racingagainstautism.com<BR>http://www.teampanteraracing.com<BR>http://facebook.com/racingagainstautism<BR><BR>_______________________________________________<BR>TPR mailing list<BR><A href="mailto:TPR@teampanteraracing.com" ymailto="mailto:TPR@teampanteraracing.com">TPR@teampanteraracing.com</A><BR>http://lists.teampanteraracing.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tpr<BR></DIV></DIV></div></body></html>
