John,

I thought about this, but have a concern. If I simply plug the
canister line from the tank, and if I don't have a gas cap that
breathes, won't this give me a pressure problem in the gas tank?

I see this as having two solutions:
- Vented gas cap, or
- Vented tank

Bud sent me some ideas too that he did. I'll have to take a look at
it all to see how I want to do it.

Anyone install a rollover valve? Do you have pictures? Does it sit
below the filler neck? What happens if you overfill?
Just remove the charcoal canister and plug the vapor line
at the gas tank. You should have one breather element
(can get from K&N) and a fill cap. That's all you
need to do.

If I remove the stock air cleaner
from my 351C engine in the Pantera, in
order to install a K&N drop-base air cleaner with
filter and filter
top... I will have two hoses that go nowhere.
- oil fill cap breather hose to stock air cleaner
- charcoal canister vent tube to stock air cleaner

What's a guy to do?

I see there are some nice breathers available but what
is the best
recommended solution to my predicament? Should I get
a simple push-in
breather that I can put in the oil fill cap? Is there
a better breather
solution that can replace the cap? How did -you- do
it?

Then, what about that pesky charcoal canister? Should
I simply remove
it and place it gently on a shelf with a tag for
future restoration? If
I do that, what do I do with the vent hose from the
fuel tank?

I feel like such a novice.
