A delightful lady, but liberal democrat and ex-NYC prima ballerina. She was very keen on save the planet issues and did drive a small, fuel efficient, environmentally friendly car. She drove it until she was T-boned at an intersection in Phoenix. She suffered some broken bones. When she moved out to join my brother in Wichita, he asked if they could have the family beater, the 1972 Olds Delta 88. It seems that his wife had suddenly reflected on the merits of saving the planet with small, fuel efficient cars and decided that she preferred to have a LOT of heavy metal around her even if it was rusty and had a V8! They drove it until the transmission quit and it was donated to a worthy charity in Wichita.
