  Funny story follows from MD youth....In my entire life I have only won once....and that was a Hula hoop at the Saturday matinee where I lived....walked in with my childhood pal (Steve White) and we clutched on to both our tickets and I was POSITIVE one of us would win something...
Well sure enough I won the hula hoop....but Steve won the grand prize that Saturday.... a HOBY CAT sailboat with trailer!!!!!. We could not believe our luck....or Steve's luck....haha.....He called his dad and at the time neither his dad or mine had a truck to tow the boat and trailer but his dad did have a station wagon with a tow hitch....The problem was when Steve called his dad, his dad hung up TWICE......on the third call Steve's mom answered the phone and Steve yelled "THIS IS NOT A JOKE MOM...I WON A BOAT"
Rest is history and we had allot of great times in that boat...so did his and my dad....a few years later we both landed in Nam. Me in the Army and Steve in the Marines.....We came back a year apart from Nam and the last time I heard from Steve he had just got out of prison but was doing well....finally.
The HobyCat was sold off after he joined the Marines.HAHAHA
Life is mostly good!
