Cheryl officially takes charge as the POCA president Jan 1 but she is already hard at work.

She is seeking POCA Board support to make TPR an official POCA Chapter.

I know some of you have let your POCA membership lapse but I am hopeful you will rejoin and list TPR as your chapter in 2026.

You can BTW join more then one chapter…I did that as both a PCNC as well as a NWP member.

Let me know if you have any questions but here is my reply to Cheryl and the POCA board members.

Thanks for your consideration.

Dennis

Congrat's Cheryl on your new position as POCA president. Very impressed with your enthusiasm and 'can-do' attitude.

Team Pantera Racing is all in on your plans for the new year. I will be publishing the TPR schedule early next year but it includes a return to the Silver State Challenge like it has since 1989 as well as to El Mirage for some high speed testing, followed by the Virginia City Hill Climb and hopeful we will see a left-coast POCA or chapter track event we can get behind as well.

Please let me know if I can be of any support to you and the POCA Board in the future.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,

Dennis

It is a GREAT time to be a member of our Pantera Owners Club of America (POCA)!

If I have not spoken to you personally, feel free to give me a call, my number below – or I may be calling you! I want to humbly thank you all for entrusting me with the keys to this club —for the next couple of years. POCA is made up of amazing members who have great taste, sophistication and international GT racing appreciation to own these exotic super cars – and to DRIVE them! We are a rarity and we will promote the excitement our GT cars as much as possible.

As your new president, along with our new Board, we vow to get the Pantera enthusiasm roaring, our DeTomaso’s shining, and our gatherings and fellowship fun and the “talk of the town”. This new board will work hard to make sure our future Fun Rally’s and meets are fun, our cruises smooth, and we hope to see you and your cars joining us! If your car is not ready – meet up with us anyway and bring a chair! The more the Merrier!!

Ultimately, we will guide this club with a passion for Panteras, good times, transparency and common sense. Thank you, fill up, buckle up, and let’s hit the road!

First off, you may hear me speak about the Pantera Club -interchangeably with POCA. In speaking to ‘civilians’ we have been identified as a “Poker Club”, “Polka Club” & worse. Please take no offense 😊

It is our intention to listen and talk about what should be initial key improvements for POCA and where to start. As President, firstly, I am working with our Treasurer Joe Wright to get a clear understanding of our incomes, expenses and cashflow, amongst other details to maintain financial stability. Rob has talked about a great number for POCA’s 1/1/2026 start, and we hope to be even more prosperous! Your new board members have been clubbers for some time, so we are coming in with ideas. But there are regional improvements that your Chapters could need, to make POCA participation and collaboration a bit more, easy and pain-free. We will work on this.

Our new Secretary, Frank Lisi (from NJ) will be emailing a meeting notice to you, our Chapter Presidents. Please, if you cannot attend, please send a representative. To quickly explain, our meetings are changing for 2026. To improve the national board’s responsiveness to the needs of each chapter, and transparency, we will hold our meetings monthly on the 2nd Wednesday starting 2026. We are also working to include video for those with that ability on their phone or PC. (you can turn the video off as well) We hope that this will lessen the overtalk and provide clearer understanding and to actually know who is speaking! Additionally, we hope to have a ‘replay’ option operational for those who miss it or need a refresher.

Frank (from NJ) will make this meeting as efficient as possible. I am sure many of us have the same complaints, so get them to Frank prior to the meeting, so they are added to the agenda. We will pull them all together to divide and conquer! Cheryl (From OH) and the board are interested in what all of our Chapters and members are expecting from POCA, and solutions.

The meeting will start off in a new order of roll call & discussion with our East Coasters first and working our way West. We hope you hear a tremendous amount of valuable information and have a fun call with your fellow Pantera owners.

Please look for Frank’s email, and we are already excited to hear from everyone!
