[TPR] Race Results

For a minute there:
I thought the two Oldest cars there, were Dennis & one other 1972!!
Then I spotted Blaine Speedlove's '67 Mustang' & a '65 Shelby Daytona'!!!

The work it takes to keep a 50+ yr old car running....& safe @ those speeds....INCREDIBLE!!
(It's well beyond the team of Factory Engineers of the day!!!)

Of course MD has the "NW TPR Engineering Division" in his favor!!  (& the Chief Engineer doubles as his Crew Chief!! )

Charlie Friend most likely oldest driver!!! (Must be '84' by now!!)
He was only 0.0147 off perfect, & only good for 5th place!!
That class: incredible, AS ALWAYS!!!!

GOOD SHOW EVERYONE!!!!

Amazing looking back in the day....when 225 cars would line up in Hiko!!!

I remember telling a Lincoln County Deputy Sheriff. (Blocking North side of Hwy 318 @ cattle guard)
I thanked him for his help that day:
