Your right Asa....no gaskets to the center balance tubes....just slip joint.....the solution for SS will have to be a temp one...but I am also sure once they are hot at WOT the noise will decrease assuming my 8th grade science class was right about heat expansion!

The trouble with welding is that the two sides need to come apart to get the headers out. I’m not sure of the process but it seems to me the slip joint needs to be resized for what had to originally be a friction-sealable fit. His earlier set of 180s had a flat flange and gasket that met in the middle, but it was kind of big and ugly. His current set are so much sexier I’m sure he’s getting laid more.

I doubt there is any kind of gasketing there but again, I don’t know how these normally go together.

Or if still have good solid metal: New clamp or Re-use old one: (new is best, they're subject to STRETCHING & that often leads to what you now have.)

ADD some exhaust epoxy paste under clamp.
Tighten clamp 80% & wipe off any that squeezed out.
Let it harden.
Next day tighten 100%.

You got a good looking engine bay.

Maybe set up a couple of collars similar to standard header connector rings. If space required between insert a couple of springs to maintain tension. But I'm just spit balling.

I tried tightening it previously and got it to stop for a while. I think the flip joint has worn out and become bigger than it should. Something to address when they are taken off next time.

Pantera is running great. Did not need to change the oil but did so anyway. Took her out for a hard drive and all is well…..EXCEPT the 180’s at the cross over balance tube started rattling. Not as noticeable once the headers are hot but I am deaf too. Neighbor came by and asked if everything was good (he heard it too!)…he put a gloved hand on the balance tube and the rattling stopped. I Suggested he may need to sit in the engine bay in 14 days or I just go faster so I cant hear the sound.

Checked all the header bolts but problem is at center tube where there is a slip connection. But if that is all I have to complain about I am ready. Checked out the new trailer and it is ready aa well.
