[TPR] ON STAR of OFF STAR???? Shared from Laurie

Although our younger society of engineers and graduates preach about environmental sustainability, but the Cars produced today seem to last much longer if driven, but when they are done, they are throw aways, just like most anything else produced today. All we can do is put up with them as long as we can and throw them away and hope their tracking devices will create the data of waste.

Thanks for sharing again. A Good reminder Laurie thst these electronics do not last long in heat and Socal is hot… as amazing as the electronics are in the new cars it is a reminder your mechanicals will probably outlast the electronics.

If JB doesn't know the answer to your question or is traveling I am sure ASA does know. And so will your extended warranty!

Dennis who still hasn’t figured out half the electronics on the C8.

Haha

Still some disadvantages with older cars. Two days ago my hybrid Lincoln MKZ had warning light on that Anti-lock brake system on.. and brake warning light too. When trying to stop it really wasn't responsive and took much longer to stop. Turned off and on and gone. But next time starting happened again. Good thing I have an extended warranty but we'll see how that goes. Anyone electronically skilled know why that would occur? Only 41k miles on that car although it's a 2012.

No surprises there. No doubt evidence would be used to deny claims.

One more reason to keep the Pantera or any old car.

JB, as our resident team expert on electronics did you go back to points and condenser on your yella beast?

And is the MSD ignition a transmitter?
